Our Story

AnonLink was born in 2024 from a growing concern about the erosion of online privacy. Our founding team, comprised of privacy advocates, security researchers, and software engineers, noticed that even the simple act of clicking a link could reveal sensitive information about users.

Traditional URL shorteners and redirect services often collect extensive data about their users, creating detailed profiles that can be sold to advertisers or accessed by government agencies. We saw a need for a different approach – one that prioritizes privacy above profit.

Starting from a small office in Austin, Texas, we built AnonLink from the ground up with privacy-by-design principles. Every feature, every line of code, and every decision is made with one question in mind: "Does this protect or compromise user privacy?"
